Executive Coaching in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, and Beyond

The complexity is different in every city. The work is always the same: helping you lead from the inside out.

Leadership does not look identical in Dubai and Riyadh. It does not feel the same in Mumbai and Abu Dhabi. The stakeholder dynamics are different. The cultural expectations of seniority are different. The unspoken rules of the room are different.

What remains constant is this: the most significant constraints on a senior leader’s performance are never purely strategic. They are human. They live in the patterns, the blind spots, and the internal narratives that no market context creates, and no market context removes.

Over two decades of working with C-suite executives, VPs, Founders, and Managing Directors across the Gulf and beyond, I have learned that the most powerful coaching work happens at the intersection of who you are and where you lead. Understanding both is not optional. It is the work.
This is where that work happens.

UAE

Where David’s Practice Was Built

Dubai does not do gradual. It does transformation at scale, at speed, and with a level of ambition that attracts leaders from every corner of the world and then tests them in ways no other market quite replicates.

The UAE produces a particular kind of leadership challenge. Senior executives here routinely lead teams of fifteen nationalities. They navigate stakeholder relationships that span sovereign wealth funds, family businesses, multinational headquarters in three time zones, and government entities with their own cultural logic. They are expected to be decisive in public and measured in private. To project calm while operating at pace. To hold authority without appearing to need it.

That is a very specific kind of pressure. And it accumulates.

I established my practice in Dubai because I understood that pressure from the inside. Fourteen years in management consulting across the region gave me the analytical discipline and business fluency that underpins this work. But it was the leaders I sat with, across every sector and seniority level, who taught me that strategy without self-awareness has a ceiling. And in the UAE, that ceiling arrives faster than almost anywhere else.

●  Who I work with in the UAE

C-suite executives, VPs, Managing Directors, and Founders in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, across financial services, energy, government, real estate, technology, professional services, and healthcare. Leaders in transition, leaders at plateau, and leaders who are succeeding on every measurable dimension and quietly wondering whether they are operating at their full depth.

●  What the work addresses

The UAE market surfaces particular patterns with consistency: the isolation of seniority in a fast-moving, high-visibility environment; the pressure to project executive presence across a multicultural leadership landscape; the tension between the pace the market demands and the reflective space that real strategic thinking requires. And beneath all of it, the same question that sits at the heart of every coaching engagement: who am I when I strip away the title, the performance, and the expectation?

Saudi Arabia

A Region of Ambitious Transformation

Saudi Arabia is deliberately reinventing itself, at a pace and scale that has very few historical precedents. Vision 2030 is not a policy document. It is a complete reimagining of what the Kingdom’s economy looks like, who leads it, and how.

For senior executives in Riyadh, Jeddah and other cities in Saudi Arabia, that creates a leadership context unlike any other in the region.

Saudi Arabia is building something the world has not seen before. And the leaders driving that transformation, both Saudi nationals and the international executives who work alongside them, are operating at a level of complexity that demands more than technical excellence.

Saudi leaders today are redefining what leadership looks like in the Kingdom: drawing on deep cultural roots, a sharp understanding of how the region operates, and an ambition that is shaping entire sectors. The pressure is not one of capability. It is one of pace. When an entire economy is transforming simultaneously, the internal game of leadership, how you lead yourself under that weight, becomes as important as the external one.

Expatriate leaders face a different but equally demanding challenge: building the cultural fluency to earn trust in a market with its own logic, its own relationships, and its own way of measuring credibility. That is not something a briefing document resolves.

Across both groups, the demand is the same: leadership that is grounded, self-authored, and capable of holding complexity without losing clarity. That kind of leadership is not built in a training room. It is built in the coaching room.

I bring to KSA a depth of cultural understanding that is not learned from a book. My Arabic heritage, my multicultural background, and over two decades of coaching leaders across the Gulf mean that I understand the unspoken dynamics of Saudi leadership culture: the role of family, legacy, and reputation in executive identity; the particular weight of ambition in a context where ambition has not always been safe to name; and the tension between the outward pace of transformation and the internal pace at which people actually change.

The work in Saudi Arabia is the same work I do everywhere. It is also entirely specific to here.

●  Who I work with in KSA

Senior executives and C-suite leaders in Riyadh and Jeddah, across government-linked entities, sovereign wealth-adjacent organisations, Vision 2030 programme leadership, professional services, financial services, and multinational corporations operating in the Kingdom. Saudi nationals navigating rapid elevation, and expatriate leaders deepening their understanding of a market with its own distinct dynamics, relationships, and cultural logic.

●  What the work addresses
Leadership identity under rapid role transition; navigating the evolving expectations of senior leadership as organisations modernise; strategic visibility in a market where relationships, credibility, and contribution all shape opportunity; and the quiet, cumulative pressure of leading at the frontier of an unprecedented national transformation.

India

A Future Market For Leaders Who Are Ready Now

In India, the leaders who will define the next chapter of India’s corporate landscape are already leading today.

India’s C-suite is producing some of the most globally sophisticated executive talent in the world. Leaders who have navigated the complexity of operating at scale in a market of 1.4 billion people, who have led through regulatory environments that change faster than most organisations can adapt to, and who carry a relationship with seniority, ambition, and organisational identity that is shaped by some of the world’s most demanding leadership environments.

The coaching conversation in India tends to go deeper, faster. Indian senior leaders are often exceptionally self-aware, intellectually rigorous, and highly motivated to develop. What makes this work distinctive for leaders at this level is the nature of the space itself: genuinely confidential, non-evaluative, and focused entirely on them as a leader and as a person, not as a function of their organisation’s expectations. It is a market that rewards genuine understanding above all else.

That is what this work offers.

●  Who this will serve

C-suite leaders, VPs, and Founders in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi, in sectors including financial services, technology, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and professional services. Indian leaders operating in global organisations, and global leaders navigating Indian contexts.

Why Context Is Not Enough on Its Own

Working across these three markets has taught me something that no amount of cultural research captures: context explains a great deal, but it does not explain the person sitting across from you in the coaching room.

Three different markets. The same coaching room truth.

  • The Saudi executive who second-guesses himself before every board presentation despite a decade of results.
  • The UAE Managing Director who is respected by everyone around her and still does not feel it.
  • The Indian VP who can diagnose every strategic problem in the room and cannot apply the same clarity to his own next move.

These are not market-specific patterns. They are human ones.

What the market context adds is the particular shape those patterns take, the specific pressures that activate them, and the cultural fluency required to navigate them with genuine sensitivity rather than borrowed frameworks.

That combination, of deep psychological rigour and genuine regional understanding, is what this practice is built on.
